Not only was it Melissa's birthday end of January, it was also Australia Day again. Two great opportunities to visit the capital of South Australia: Adelaide.
St. Peter's Cathedral
Rundall Park
Botanic Gardens
Along North Terrace they build all the museums and universities. Right next to our hotel.
On Australia Day we visited Glenelg; the beach suburb of Adelaide. There was a Havaianas 'challenge' with inflatable flip-flops. They didn't quite make the World Record...
On our way to the celebrations in the city and Elder Park
In between we visited Kangaroo Island, where we did a fully guided tour - spotting seals, koala's and of course kangaroo's
The Remarkable Rocks
Seal Bay
On our last day we rented a car and drove around the region: from the Adelaide Hills to the Barossa Valley
