Vacation French Polynesia: Mo'orea

Of course you don't go to French Polynesia to just visit Tahiti. So we spend a weekend together with Elise & Fabian on Mo'orea, the 'vacation island' just a 30 minute ferry ride away from Tahiti.

Vacation French Polynesia: Tahiti

After a long wait - that's what you get when you book the tickets months in advance - we finally went on our 'trip of a lifetime': French Polynesia. 

First stop: Tahiti

It was not only a vacation, but also a good chance to visit our friends Elise & Fabien who have been living there for a few years already.

It was already months ago that we bought a new tent, but finally we were in the opportunity to try it out. We headed of to Main Range National Park - about two hours drive from Brisbane - and set up camp for the weekend.

After having spend a year in our one-bedroom apartment in Newstead, we decided that it was time to move. Perhaps that the noise of the bar across the street and the permanent construction on the corner had something to do with it, but that's another story. 

Who says no to moving to a nicer neighbourhood, a two-bedroom (or one bedroom and office) apartment in a complex with city & Story Bridge views, a swimming pool and brand new furniture? Not us!
