Week-end in Sydney

Because Mélissa had to go to the French consulate in order to get her passport renewed, we decided to combine the necessary with the pleasurable and stay a weekend in Sydney. It has been over a year since we we're there for New Year, so time to explore the rest of the city.

Australia Day in Adelaide

Not only was it Melissa's birthday end of January, it was also Australia Day again. Two great opportunities to visit the capital of South Australia: Adelaide.

Along North Terrace they build all the museums and universities. Right next to our hotel.

On Australia Day we visited Glenelg; the beach suburb of Adelaide. There was a Havaianas 'challenge' with inflatable flip-flops. They didn't quite make the World Record...

In between we visited Kangaroo Island, where we did a fully guided tour - spotting seals, koala's and of course kangaroo's
